We recently had the pleasure of hosting our Meet the Team event at the iconic Bettys in Harrogate, and what a fantastic afternoon it turned out to be. Bringing the Apollo Cloud crew and Xi Communications customers together in such an elegant setting felt like the perfect way to mark this exciting new chapter.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing. Bettys outdid themselves with a delicious afternoon tea, complete with tiers of cakes, scones and savouries that had everyone smiling. The room quickly filled with conversation as customers, partners and team members mingled and made new connections.

One of the highlights of the event was the chance to share a little more about what the future holds for Xi Communications as part of Apollo Cloud. CEO Jonathan Marsden and COO Michelle Atkinson spoke about our vision for a stronger, more streamlined and more innovative service for all Xi Comms customers. It was wonderful to see so many people leaning in, asking questions and showing real enthusiasm for what comes next.

Of course, it would not be a proper celebration without a bit of fun. Every guest received a Golden Ticket for our prize draw, and the room erupted when the winning number was announced. Huge congratulations to our lucky winner, who walked away with an iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The gift bags went down a treat too, complete with Bettys Fat Rascals that were freshly decorated and carefully packed by the team earlier in the day. It was a simple touch that felt very Yorkshire and very us.

Above all, the event captured the spirit of what we are building. Two teams coming together with one shared purpose. A stronger future built on great service, great technology and great relationships.
